In this great RSA Animation, they illustrate a talk by Dan Pink called “Drive” which presents the idea of diminishing returns when trying to improve employee performance. The video demonstrates how money can be a motivator up to a certain point, then becomes a de-motivation tool with performance actually decreasing.
